The second category of placement according to GOST 15150 69. Climatic version of cable trays

Table. Standards climatic modifications according to GOST. Marking and designation of climatic modifications GOST 15150-69.

GOST 15150-69 applies to all types of machines, instruments and other technical products and establishes the macroclimatic zoning of the globe, performance, category, operating conditions, storage and transportation of products in terms of impact climatic factors external environment. Climatic performance in Central Antarctica is not determined by GOST 15150-69. Several macroclimatic regions can be combined into a group of macroclimatic regions (for example, the category of climatic version UHL, T).

Types of climatic versions, designation:

  • U - temperate climate (+40/-45 o C);
  • CL - cold climate (+40/-60 o C);
  • UHL - temperate and cold climate (+40/-60 o C);
  • T - tropical climate (+40/+1 o C);
  • M - maritime temperate cold climate (+40/-40 o C);
  • O - general climatic version (except for marine) (+50 / -60 ° С);
  • OM - general climatic marine version (+45 / -40 ° С);
  • B - all climatic modifications (+50/-60 о С).

Designation example: Butterfly valve ZP 200-16 UHL 1. This means that a rotary valve with a nominal diameter of 200 mm and an operating pressure of 16 bar can be used in a moderately cold climate at temperatures up to minus 60 ° C on outdoors.

The number after the letters indicates the accommodation category:

  • 1 - open air;
  • 2 - the same as 1 only without direct sunlight and without precipitation;
  • 3 - indoors without regulation climatic conditions;
  • 4 - indoors with ventilation and heating;
  • 5 - in rooms with high humidity, without artificial regulation of climatic conditions.

General provisions GOST 15150-69

Products are intended for operation, storage and transportation in the range from the upper to the lower values of these climatic modifications, while in addition to the ranges of climatic factors within which the operability of the products is ensured during operation, one or more narrower ranges of climatic factors can be set, within which provide a narrower range of parameter deviations (for example, higher accuracy of regulation or measurements), i.e. climatic performance must comply with the category according to GOST 15150-69.
  4. For specific types or groups of products, the types of influencing climatic factors affecting the climatic performance according to GOST and their nominal values are set depending on the operating conditions of the products in the relevant technical specifications, standards and specifications. If there are documents that establish a relationship between the values of factors for product groups, with the specified climatic modifications in accordance with GOST 15150-69, one should be guided by the instructions of these documents
  5. It is allowed to operate products in macroclimatic regions and that differ from those for which the products are intended, if climatic factors during the operation period do not go beyond the nominal values established for these products. For example, products of the UHL4 climatic modification type can be operated in the UHL2 conditions during the summer dry period.
  6. It is allowed to operate products in conditions where the values of climatic factors go beyond the established nominal values, if service life deviations are acceptable. At the same time, the admissibility of operation, the values of climatic factors for performance, the permissible deviations of the service life are agreed with the supplier of the products.
  7. In accordance with economic and technical feasibility, it is recommended to manufacture products suitable for operation in several areas established by this standard, i.e. the category of climatic modification according to GOST 15150-69 should cover several climatic regions.
  8. Products can also be designed for operation in several macroclimatic regions; in these cases, combinations various conditions operation or storage with periods of stay in these conditions are established in the standards or technical specifications for products, climatic modifications (category of climatic modification) must be indicated in the accompanying documents for the goods.
  9. A macroclimatic region with a temperate climate UHL (category of climatic modification UHL) includes areas where the average annual absolute maximum air temperature is equal to or lower than plus 40°С, and the average annual absolute minimum air temperature is equal to or higher than minus 45°С.
  10. It is allowed to single out a macroclimatic subregion with a warm temperate subtype of macroclimate from a macroclimatic region with a temperate climate, for which the average of the annual absolute minimum air temperatures is equal to or higher than minus 25 °C.
  11. The macroclimatic region with a cold climate KhL (climatic modification category KhL) includes areas where the average annual absolute minimum air temperature is below minus 45°C. The region of cold climate UHL (category of climatic modification UHL) is indicated on the map.

By agreement with the customer, it is allowed to supply products designed for a temperate climate U1 to areas within 50 km from the southwestern and southeastern borders of the macroclimatic region with a cold climate on the territory of the Russian Federation.
Federation. Products placed on mobile installations intended for deliveries to the coast of the Okhotsk (to the north of the mouth of the Uda River) and the Bering Seas (with the exception of the Kamchatka Peninsula) must be manufactured in the HL version.

Distribution of the state standard GOST 15150-69

All requirements set forth in this standard are mandatory, except for requirements defined as recommended or permitted.
The standard is applicable to all types of machines, devices and other technical products. Climatic GOST 15150 breaks Earth on climatic regions, and also determines the versions, categories, operating conditions, storage and transportation.

The standard contains the following chapters:

  • general provisions applicable in particular to circuit breakers;
  • description of climatic modifications and categories of products;
  • definition normal values climatic environmental factors;
  • requirements for products (circuit breakers) in terms of climate impact;
  • requirements for products in terms of nominal values of climatic factors during operation;
  • effective values of climatic factors;
  • operating conditions of metals and other materials;
  • how to apply products for temperate climates in cold or tropical areas;
  • application of products on higher altitude than the specified nominal;
  • description of storage and transportation conditions;
  • several appendices detailing some of the factors.

Discrepancy between this climatic standard GOST 15150-69 and the international IEC

For several good reasons, it's impossible to talk about work to align international standard IEC and regulations in Russia.

The difference in standards lies in the following (IEC shortcomings):

  • there is no clear division between climates in the IEC;
  • there is an irrational grouping of climates;
  • each specific operating condition is assigned its own climate class by a single climatic parameter;
  • V international system there are no divisions into maritime and oceanic climates;
  • on the territory of the CIS, the international IEC selects unfortunate lower temperatures, which leads to inappropriate climatic zoning.

IEC 721-3 series standards are currently subject to revision, so the harmonization of climatic normative documents until it can be implemented.

Some examples of climate modifications and placement categories

UHL1 example. Flexible cable brand KG for movable connection of electrical installations, as well as power cable VVG grades are produced in the UHL1 version (suitable for a temperate and cold area when working under the influence of atmospheric factors).

UHL3 example. Most of the circuit breakers are assigned UHL version (for macroclimatic regions with a temperate and cold climate) placement category 3 (operation in enclosed spaces with natural ventilation, where the effects of temperature, humidity and dust are lower than in open space; no exposure to rain, snow, solar radiation, wind).

UHL4 example. PML magnetic starters have UHL climatic design with placement category 4 (creation of artificial climatic conditions, closed heated rooms with forced ventilation).

Example U1. Industrial explosion-proof NSP luminaires are manufactured in U1 climatic design (workable in a moderate macroclimatic region when operating in open space).

Marking (a brief description of protective coatings, types of climatic performance and categories of product placement, degrees of protection).

Products designed for various climatic regions, categories, operating and storage conditions in terms of the impact of climatic environmental factors are marked in accordance with GOST 1 51 50-69. According to the degree of protection provided by the shells, the products are marked in accordance with GOST 14254-96.

Marking U1 means - products for use in areas with a temperate climate with placement category 1 (outdoors).

Marking U2 means - products for operation in areas with a temperate climate with placement category 2 [under a canopy or in rooms with free access air).

UZ marking means - products for operation in areas with a temperate climate with a category of placement 3 (in the closed rooms with natural ventilation).

Marking T1 .T2.TZ means - products for operation in areas with both dry and humid tropical climates, with placement in the open air, under a canopy, in enclosed spaces with natural ventilation.

Marking UHL1 means - products for operation in areas with a temperate and cold climate with placement category 1 (outdoors).

Marking UHL-4 means - products for operation in areas with a temperate and cold climate with placement category 4 (in rooms with artificially controlled climatic conditions).

Marking UT1.5 means - products for operation both in areas with a temperate climate and in areas with a dry or humid tropical climate, both with placement category 1 (outdoors) and placement category 5 (in rooms with high humidity).

Particular requirements for the material of products are imposed by a temperate and cold climate (UHL), due to low operating temperatures, therefore, products intended for operation in areas with UHL1 must be made of materials that retain their properties at a temperature of minus 70°C.

The index "c" in the product marking indicates a zinc coating obtained by hot-dip galvanizing.

Letter "X" In the product labeling, it denotes a chemical resistant coating.

It must be understood that products, for example, intended for use in temperate areas of placement category 1 can also be used in temperate areas of placement categories 2, 3 or 4, but not vice versa. Similarly: products with marking UT1.5 can replace products with labeling U1, U2, UZ, T1 T2.TZ.

Temperate climate, or temperate climate, characteristic of the temperate geographical zone mainly northern hemisphere, between 40-45 and 62-68 °C. sh. and 42 and 58 °S. sh. In the Northern Hemisphere, over 1/2 of the surface of the temperate zone is occupied by land, in the Southern - 98% of the territory is covered by the sea. The temperate climate is characterized by frequent and strong changes in air pressure and temperature and wind direction, which occur due to the intense activity of cyclones.

tropical climate- type of climate typical of the tropics. According to the climate classification adopted by W. P. Köppen, it is defined as a non-arid climate in which the average temperature is above 18 ° C (64.4 ° F) for all 12 months of the year.

The tropical climate is characterized by small seasonal temperature fluctuations. In the Northern Hemisphere in the north, the tropics pass into the subtropics, in the south - into the subequatorial zone.

The tropical climate is divided (according to precipitation) into two sub-belts: the tropical dry climate and the tropical humid climate. The first type of climate is characteristic of almost all tropical deserts, the second - for oceanic islands located in low latitudes.
