The fundamental difference between these two groups is that when hard objects get into the tank, they generally sink to the bottom, and soft fragments of laundry often get stuck between the tank and the drum, and sometimes get wound up on the drum shaft. Based on this, solid foreign objects are usually easier to reach.

1. Where foreign objects get stuck
