  7. When the system is flushed, you can replace the O-ring on the drain plug. It becomes unusable every time the plug is removed, so always buy a sealant. If the plug itself is deformed, its thread is broken, or it does not close the hole tightly enough even with a new gasket, it is better to change the plug completely.
  8. Return under the hood, where after applying the flush mixture you can also remove the old filter. Its replacement is mandatory at every scheduled maintenance. Clean the seat with a rag.

This is due to the fact that part of the lubricant usually remains in the system, so the actual volume does not coincide with the regulated one.
  12. Check the lubricant level using the dipstick. There are “Min” and “Max” marks on it. Liquid should be poured into Honda power units so that the mark on the dipstick is exactly between these marks. If the level is closer to “Min”, you need to add a little more lubricant. Overfilling is not recommended as this will lead to leaks and excessive consumption. Therefore, if there is an excess amount of motor fluid in the crossover, it will need to be drained.
